“architectural parcellation schemes”应用到EC上，或说是EC的细分。划分标准：
(1) differential distribution of MEC and LEC projections to the hippocampus;

Layer 5 of EC: subdivided into Va & Vb; Vb targeted by CA1, subiculum, RSC and EC L2 RL+; Vb innervates Va.
